Dialog expands its Korean activity with sales office and hire

Dialog Semiconductor has hired Young Soo Lee as country manager and to set up a new sales office in Korea. The company intends to grow its business in Korea with a dedicated sales and technical support team.

Jalal Bagherli, CEO of Dialog Semiconductor said, “We welcome Young Soo Lee on board at an exciting time of growth for Dialog. We have worked on a number of successful design-in activities with Korean customers in the past 12 months. Young Soo will be accelerating our growth by converting these design-ins into production for top Korean customers, generating new revenue streams for Dialog within the next six months.”

Young Soo Lee will be located in Seoul, Korea. Bringing valuable local experience to the job, before joining Dialog he worked for Austria Microsystems AG for more than five and a half years as Country Manager of Korea, and was responsible for leading and managing Korean sales for top accounts such as Samsung and LGE as well as distribution.

Dialog is scheduled to release its Q2 2008 financial results on 22 July 2008.
